The Winchester Frederick Metropolitan Planning Organization (WinFred MPO) brings together local, state, and federal representatives to plan and carry out transportation projects that improve the region.
Work was completed while employed at Sagetopia.
The MPO needed an updated explainer video to help viewers understand their work in helping to plan and fund transportation projects.
I chose to use a line art illustration style with a limited color palette that would coordinate with the brand's existing assets. The challenge was illustrating buildings that were both basic and yet recognizable as real buildings in the Winchester-Frederick region so the animation would feel relatable to locals.
The final product was a simple, eye-catching animation that clearly explains the MPO's work and the process of turning transportation projects from ideas into real solutions.
